1. Acceptance of Terms

By booking a room or using our services at Samara Guest Inn, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Booking and Reservations

Reservation Process

  • Bookings can be made via phone, email, or in person
  • All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation
  • We reserve the right to refuse any booking at our discretion
  • Booking confirmation will be sent via email or phone

Payment Terms

  • Payment terms will be communicated at the time of booking
  • We accept cash and may accept other payment methods as available
  • All prices are in Sri Lankan Rupees (LKR) unless otherwise stated
  • Prices are subject to change without notice until booking is confirmed

3. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in time: 2:00 PM
  • Check-out time: 11:00 AM
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and subject to availability
  • Guests must provide valid identification upon check-in
  • We reserve the right to charge for late check-out beyond the agreed time

4. Guest Responsibilities

Guests are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate information during booking
  • Respecting hotel property and other guests
  • Complying with hotel rules and regulations
  • Any damage caused to hotel property during their stay
  • Ensuring their personal belongings are secure
  • Complying with local laws and regulations

5. Hotel Rights and Responsibilities

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse service to anyone for any reason
  • Remove guests who violate hotel policies or disturb other guests
  • Enter rooms for maintenance, security, or emergency purposes
  • Charge for damages or additional services
  • Modify or cancel bookings due to circumstances beyond our control

6. Cancellation and Refunds

Please refer to our Cancellation Policy for detailed information about cancellations and refunds.

7. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for loss or damage to guest property
  • We are not responsible for personal injury except where caused by our negligence
  • We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or special damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking

8. Prohibited Activities

The following activities are strictly prohibited:

  • Smoking in non-designated areas
  • Illegal activities of any kind
  • Excessive noise or disturbance to other guests
  • Bringing pets without prior authorization
  • Damaging hotel property
  • Unauthorized commercial activities

9. Force Majeure

We are not liable for failure to perform our obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events.

10. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Sri Lanka.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
